ABOUT THOMAS

Previously known as Tommy Stacherski, he grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Music had always been an important part of his life while growing up. He has vivid memories of watching Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins, doing “Steppin’ Time” on repeat while trying to mimic the dancing.

When he was in elementary school, his love for music grew thanks to his music teacher, Mr. Barber. He would show the students songs like “The Locomotion” or “Little Shop of Horrors,” teach them a dance to the song, and then let the students change the dance as they pleased for an in-class competition. The other students knew Tommy had a knack for dancing and would always want to be in his group. This was Tommy’s first taste of choreographing.

He then discovered his love for musical theatre when he saw his older sister, Kaitlyn, in her middle school production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. He was instantly hooked and could not wait to get to middle school to be in shows. He eventually got there and his love of the arts grew. He continued to pursue it throughout his time at Neshaminy High School, performing in many productions there. He also took part in Summer Stock Productions at surrounding theaters.

He is currently working on his B.A. in Musical Theatre at DeSales University and is expected to graduate 05/2025.

His professional work includes A CHORUS LINE, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, and THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR at The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.
